Elon Musk Wants All Nuclear Power Plants in the World To Be at Full Capacity

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said some environmentalists are being “inhumane” for advocating the closure of nuclear power plants.

“The countries of the world must increase the production of atomic energy! Shutting down nuclear power plants is madness from a national security point of view. It is their shutdown that is harmful to the environment,” the billionaire wrote on Twitter.

Currently, many countries of the world are phasing out nuclear power, a powerful renewable energy source.

However, experts have concerns about its safety after the accidents at nuclear power plants in Chernobyl and Fukushima.

Musk has been a strong advocate for the use of nuclear energy as a renewable source in the past.

In an interview with Business Insider in March of this year, Musk urged not only not to close nuclear power plants but also to reopen those that have already been closed.

According to him, this should be done first of all in those countries where there is no risk of mass natural disasters. He concluded that nuclear power was needed until other renewable sources became more reliable.

Musk has previously said that he created a digital version of his brain based on cloud infrastructure, adding that in this way, he tested the latest neural network technologies.
